With over 30 years experience, at Rainbow Carpets & Beds we have been selling carpets, beds and mattresses since we opened our doors in Skegness back in 1981.

Our experience in the bed trade goes back even further than that; we've been sleeping on them our entire lives!

Seriously, though, a good bed -- and with it a good night's sleep -- is one of the most important purchases you can possibly make; the average person will spend around 24 years in bed during their life!

Over the years we've learned a lot about sleep, comfort and support, as well as what represents value for money. Bearing in mind that the average lifespan of a bed should be 6 to 10 years it is important to remember this is the 'effective lifespan' of your bed - meaning this is the amount of time your bed will perform the way it was designed to, giving you optimum comfort and support.

It is a sad fact of life that many people pay little attention to both the quality and the lifespan of their bed in earlier life - many people sleep on the same bed for 20 years or more - which is one of the main causes of back problems in the second half of their life.
