Boxall & Edmiston Ltd. were established in 2009 with the aim of manufacturing a truly British shotgun. In July 2010 the dream became reality with the launch of the Boxlock with Sideplates at the CLA Game Fair. The Boxlock represents the coming together of manufacturing innovation and the art of British Gun making.

One year on the Sidelock was launched at the 2011 CLA Game Fair. The Sidelock is the flagship of the range and has all the features a Boxall & Edmiston gun is known for.

Quality is paramount and by coupling the latest production methods with some of the UK’s finest craftsman something truly unique has been created.

Extensive investment in the most accurate machine-tools allows Boxall & Edmiston to manufacture every component of a best gun. The uncompromising quality of the machines is further enhanced by the use of cutting edge computer aided design software.

With over 50 years experience the proprietors have introduced new technology to the manufacturing process, whilst keeping the design and production values rooted in tradition and a deep founded respect for the British Shotgun. The manufacturing process is carried out entirely in Britain by some of the most renowned craftsman. Only the Walnut blank is sourced from outside the Uk, a necessity to ensure the highest possible grade of wood.

The range is being expanded in 2011 with the launch of a Scrollback Boxlock in the spring and a Sidelock at the CLA Game Fair.

Boxall & Edmiston believe in the art of British gunmaking and will continue to preserve the craft and craftsman for generations to come.
