Based in rural Scotland, but less than an hour from Edinburgh, Strathallan has an excellent reputation for its academic, sporting and musical achievements.
In 2015, we outperformed all other independent boarding schools in Scotland based on our A* and A grades at A Level. We were named 'The Top Scottish Boarding School' and 'A Top 50 Co-Educational Boarding School by A Levels for 2015' by www.best-schools.co.uk.
Known for our sporting excellence, in the past 18 months, 38 pupils have represented their country in 16 different sports and we have won 53 Scottish, GB European and World Champion Titles.
Musically our offering is diverse and we have many different ensembles; our pipe band is thriving and every year our choristers sing for the Queen at Balmoral.
Continuing our £18M investment programme this year we have seen the opening of our new Dance and Drama Studio to complement our indoor multi-sports hall.
At Strathallan, pupils aged 9 to 18 enjoy the benefits of a truly holistic education experience in a community environment where the vast majority of teachers live on site.
We are distinctive by our achievements but also through the sense of family and support which is an intrinsic part of our ethos.
