General information
Manor House Gardens was restored following a successful Heritage Lottery Board bid and re-opened to the public in June 2000.
The refurbishment included the re-establishment of the original vistas from the Manor House, a new walled flower garden, the restoration of the lake and a new fountain. The original ice house has also been restored and is open to the public on request.
With a multi-sports ball court, tennis courts, a children’s playground and dog exercise area, Manor House Park is a great place to bring the kids to take in the fresh air and to enjoy the green space within this little oasis in Lewisham.
We sell delicious freshly prepared hot and cold food with an extensive kiddies menu which can be enjoyed whatever the weather as we have both an inside and outside seating area. Actively involved in the community, we sell local produce in the café and we host many events through the year including a weekly farmer’s market.
