General information

Since our business started in 1998 we have proven our skills of quality care and logistical management by utilising our services in community-based transport services.

APMS is now an established independent provider of ambulance and paramedic transport providing service to the NHS, Social Services, the private healthcare sector, private ambulance transfers and event medical cover.

We offer the services of qualified medical personnel including registered health professionals, registered paramedics, registered nurses, Qualsafe trained ambulance technicians and first aiders.

We have a fleet of ambulances, medical cars and 4x4 ambulances accessible for patients with different abilities. All our ambulances are fully equipped not only to NHS & CQC standards, but our own internal standards and expectations.

At APMS the safety of patients and staff is paramount this not only focuses around our vehicles but the staff we employ and the training we provide to ensure our staff maintain a truly unique service.

Our staff are checked using current disclosure and barring information. Employees undertake a thorough (recognised) induction and supervision program.We access staff information through the (DVLA) to ensure their suitability ‘before offering a APMS driving assessment’
