Investing in homes

We want to make sure that great, affordable homes are available to even more people. So to help tackle the housing crisis, we’re building more affordable homes. Over the last 10 years, we’ve built over 1,000 new homes. And by 2018, we’ll have completed a further 1,500.

Investing in people

As Peterborough’s largest social landlord, we manage nearly 11,000 homes. We house around 14% of the city’s population. But we’re more than just a landlord. We help to change lives and give hope to individuals by reducing their dependency on welfare benefits.

We’re also Peterborough’s largest provider of independent living dedicated to the needs of the elderly and vulnerable. We help people to stay safe in their own homes with our Lifeline emergency service, sheltered housing, community care and state-of-the-art extra care facility, Kingfisher Court.

Investing in communities

Small businesses help keep our city thriving. So we lease 72 shops across Peterborough, providing premises for small businesses to help keep community facilities alive.

We also work actively with local authorities and other local partners to ensure we do the things that matter and make a positive difference where we work.

Our social purpose means we support the most vulnerable, helping to address the housing crisis by delivering new homes and keeping people off welfare benefits by helping residents into work.

We are in a strong place and are delivering many added value services. We are in it for the long run and here to help those people who need us most. We’re always thinking ahead, planning for the future to make sure Peterborough and the areas where we work thrive for decades to come.
