General information
SAYT was founded in 2001 by members of Churches Together in Sevenoaks and District to employ, train and support detached Christian youth workers in Sevenoaks and its surrounding areas. Today we employ three part time youth workers who are supported by some dedicated volunteers.
We meet with young people on their terms, in their territory, including schools, streets, clubs and parks. We seek to come alongside them and support them through what can be an incredibly turbulent period of their lives.
It should go without saying, but we are needs-led, young person focused, non-judgemental and never discriminate on the basis of gender, sexuality, disability, faith or social background.
