Tonbridge Juddians Rugby Football Club

General information

Tonbridge Juddians RFC is a very sociable and friendly rugby club, providing rugby for all ages, shapes and sizes. The club runs five (and sometimes 6) senior Men sides with the 1st XV currently competing in National League 3 London & SE (Level 5) after winning three successive promotions between 2008 and 2011. All of the Senior teams compete in competitive Merit Tables and the club also enters the Kent County cup competitions.

In season 2009/10 the 1st XV were champions in London 2 SE and then won London 1 South and remained unbeaten for 3 league campaigns. The 2nd XV won Invicta 1 for past two seasons 09/10 and 10/11 and now play in Division 2 or the Rugby Tech Shield.

The club also has thriving Youth and Minis sections, with matches or training sessions on Sundays throughout the season for Under 6s all the way through to an Under 18 Development Squad. We also have a tremendous Women's section who have a full fixture list of league fixtures with training on Wednesday evenings at the Club. The club is located in the centre of Tonbridge, with a purpose built clubhouse which overlooks the main playing area. The club has 4 full sized pitches, with the 1st XV pitch fully flood-lit, plus a host of Minis grids.

Senior training takes place on

Tuesdays at Hayesbrook School, Brook Street, Tonbridge from 8-9.30pm - this is for all SENIOR players

Thursdays the 1s and 2s are at Hadlow College, Hadlow from 7.30-9pm. All other Senior players are at Tonbridge School sports centre (entrance via Hildenborough Road) from 8.30 -9.30pm

TJs is a forward looking club with a strong community base, and welcomes all standards of players and all types of non-players. Everyone is welcome to come to the clubhouse to enjoy the rugby and share in the bonhommie over a pint of beer or glass of wine (other options also available) in the bar. A regular feature of the season is the programme of League Lunches held prior to all home league matches, and all important televised rugby matches can be seen on our large plasma screens.
