About Complete Cake Craft
Tina Wilson found a talent in cake decorating over 20 years ago when doing her first novelty cake for a little boy in the family. It grew rapidly from there, so much so that she found herself doing birthday cakes for gifts instead of buying presents! The requests became more complicated, cakes were becoming 3D and a lot more elaborately structured. It was at this point that Tina realised she had a natural talent in cake decorating and decided to take it one step further: she wanted to turn professional.

While raising her family, Tina also went to college for five years to learn all about the skills needed to excel at cake craftsmanship; from the basics right through to the elaborate details and fine art that can be achieved with sugar craft. Tina graduated achieving distinction-level grades throughout her entire time at college. Her first job in sugar craft and cake decorating came when her Sheffield College tutor Barbara Gumby recommended her to Marlene at The Sugarcraft Boutique in Sheffield, half way through her course. Tina worked at the Boutique for over 12 years, where she gained more experience and learnt the trade hands on in a busy working environment. From there, Tina then went on to take a teaching course at Sheffield College, where she gained her certificate to teach other adult learners.

Tina setup Complete Cake Craft and finally became self-employed in 2009 and has gone from strength to strength since. Her passion and vision has given her the pleasure in not only creating unique cakes for each satisfied customer, but self gratification in doing a job she thoroughly enjoys.
