Ockendon Studio School connects education with employment, for 14 - 19 year students. It is delivered by The Ockendon Academy and open to all.
The Ockendon Studio School sixth form boasts a range of post-16 courses and successfully combines both academic and work-based learning. This equips our students with the skills and experience to succeed in employment and life. This new approach is forward thinking, and only one of three in Essex.
We offer:
Wide range of full - time A - Level and BTEC courses
Additional work based qualifications: World Host customer service, first aid and health and safety
Enterprise projects to develop employability skills
A programme tailored to your chosen career, with support from your own personal coach
One day a week work placement, giving you an insight to your career, building your cv and gaining contacts for your future
Small class sizes of up to twenty students
Supportive and caring environment, in a state of the art building
16 - 19 Bursary of up to £500
MS Surface tablet for all students to use for the duration of your studies.
