The Red Lion Whitworth is situated in the center of Whitworth Square where we are surrounded by 5 blue English Heritage plaques. Just up the hill from the pub is the Mary Towneley Loop and not far from the Pennine Bridle Way. The kitchen is now open and ready for service offering food prepared with locally sourced ingredients and sustainable sea food, serving traditional English and contemporary menu . The Bed & Breakfast is available accommodating a place to rest for walkers, cyclists, families, dog owners and horse riders and also have the capability to cater for groups. There are three real ale pumps on the go with one regular of Black Sheep and 2 rotating guest ales. We have large selection of alcohol free drinks for that something different including Mr Fitzpatrick's vintage cordials and mocktails and we also host a selection or Fentimans soft drinks. Our wine list is selected from Yorkshire Vintners of wines not found in the high street or supermarket with also a selection of cheeses and olives for that little nibble. On the taps we have Fosters, Carling, Kronenbourg, Stella, John Smiths Smooth, Tetley's Smooth Flow, Guinness, Guinness Extra Cold, Strongbow Cider and Strongbow Dark Fruits.
