After first opening as 'Cafe Toppo' in 1991, on the upper level of the property,
The business has continued to evolve over the last 25 years

After a name change to 'Toppo's Restaurant' in 2001, to reflect the cuisine being served,
Our reputation for quality food, wines and service continued to grow

2006 saw major changes when, after huge investments, the buisness doubled in size after opening a stunning wine bar downstairs from the restaurant.
Along with this came another name change to 'Toppo's Bar & Restaurant'

A change of direction followed in 2008 when the food side of the business was closed down. Attention was concentrated on the new bar venture and the business had another name change to 'Toppo's Wine Bar'

After a further eight years trading as a wine bar plans were already being made to return Toppo's to a food venue. After the devastating damage caused by the floods of Boxing Day 2015 those plans were brought forward and, after more major investment, we finally re-opened our doors in November 2016.

A final name change to 'Toppo's Bar and Kitchen' was made and the process of re-building the business began....
