Vanity Hair & Make-Up is based in Southchurch Village and is a hairdressers with a difference. We are here to provide glamour on the go with a menu of blowdrys, up dos and Makeup application, along side the traditional colour and cuts.

Vanity Hair & Make-Up is owned by two sisters Jessica and Amanda who have both been dealing with the different aspects of beauty and hairdressing for over 10 years. They have combined their vast skills and knowledge to create a unique experience where all your Vanity needs are taken care of under one roof.

Jessica has been wowing clients with her hairdressing talents not only in the UK but also in Spain where she was head hunted to run a 5 star country club salon. Whilst there Jessica worked on various projects including 'The Inbetweeners movie' and a large number of weddings where she found it very fulfilling to be apart of so many peoples special day. Back in the UK Jessica again has put her skills to good use working with various professional photographers as a big part of the creative team both in the studio and on location. Jessica thrives on making people feel good and making their hair dreams come true.

Amanda is the owner of the award winning Beauty Basement a Beauty Salon which is based over the road from Vanity. In the 5 years since opening Beauty Basement the salon has gone from strength to strength being named Beauty Salon of the Year at the English Hair & Beauty Awards and Small Business of the Year at the Southend Business Awards. Amanda also owns Southend Nail and Beauty School and is an educator in the Beauty field.
