General information
Today, the Consultus International Group incorporates Consultus Worldwide, The Energy Brokers, The Waterbuyers and PEMXQ (trading as “The Energy Architects”). With offices in Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions, we also work with a global network of partners. The group dates back to 1993, when Bernard Messore founded an energy buyers club within the UK’s Dyer Warner Partnership consulting business. As energy markets privatised, he identified new opportunities to help organisations achieve more competitive pricing on energy contracts as well as providing something unique: unbiased advice and a genuinely transparent approach.
1994 – The Energy Brokers incorporated & Procure service launched for Power
1995 – Gas services added
1997 – First Consortium introduced
1999 – Validate service launched
2000 – First version of Energy Portal launched
2003 – Flexible Contract Management introduced & European purchasing begins
2008 – Comply services introduced
2014 – 10TWh of energy under management
2015 – MBO by Consultus International Group & The WaterBuyers launched
2016 – Assured Energy & Consultus Worldwide launched, plus extended myEnergy portal introduced
2017 – Consultus International acquires PEMXQ Limited
