Welcome to The Barbers Chair. We are a newly established barbers with over 10 years’ experience in modern and traditional barbering. Having trained and worked right here in Essex, we have spent several years travelling and working in many countries to further our knowledge of the craft. During our travels we have met some amazing people and had many great experiences from cutting hair on the beach in Thailand to an orphanage in Cambodia. We spent 2010 – 2012 working in and managing two high-end men’s salons in Perth, Australia. Soon the home nation was calling once more. Upon our return we felt that too many barber shops were ignoring men’s needs and we set out to rectify this by employing more modern and fashion led techniques while not forgetting our traditional barber training. We wanted to achieve this in a modern, friendly and stylish setting.
