The Aughton & Ormskirk University of the Third Age is a member-run organisation for people no longer in full-time employment. It enables educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment. Members share their skills & experiences in a variety of ways through meetings, talks, social and group activities.
The Horizons coffee morning is held every Thursday at the Scout & Guide HQ, Long Lane, Aughton just next to Christ Church. At any Horizons meeting you can meet group leaders, make reservations for theatre visits, garden visits, dining, walks, holidays and keep in touch with the latest news. There is also an 'Internet Cafe', a book exchange, and much more. It is also an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.
Horizons meetings are from 9.30 till about 11.15.
