The Carousel Classic Confectionery

General information

The Carousel is situated in the high street of the historic riverside market town of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. It is an independent family run traditional Sweetshop, Ice-cream and Tea Parlour. We take pride in stocking handmade English confectionery and fudge alongside luxury chocolates from Belgium. A gift wrap service available.

Our range is expanding fast, as people take a trip down memory lane if we do not have an item you require we will do our best to source it for you.

To the rear of the Sweetshop is our tea parlour. Amongst our delicious menu, which can be found here, we serve a variety of loose and bagged teas, in bone china teapots cups and saucers, specialty coffees, chilled soft drinks and milkshakes made with gluten free farmhouse ice-cream and some very tempting homemade tray bakes and scones (including gluten free), locally baked teacakes, buns and Eccles.

During the warmer months we will also serve Marshfield’s gluten free farmhouse ice-cream in cornets or Sundae dishes.

We are stockist of Northern Tea merchants loose and bagged teas and can also offer a selection of Kitchen Garden Jams, Chutneys, Pickles and Mustards.
