General information
We sell our home produced lamb through monthly Farmers' Markets at Morpeth, Alnwick and Tynemouth and the weekly Wednesday market in Morpeth. Customers are also welcome to visit the licensed on farm butchery, by appointment. We also offer a mail order facility and full details are on the website.
The butchery is open for business from the end of August through to the middle of February. This is when the lamb is traditionally in season here in Northumberland and we pride ourselves with producing a product the traditional way.
Once the butchery season is closed we start the preparations for the lambing. This is a very enjoyable period welcoming the new life on the farm even though we work very long hours in what is more often than not poor weather. In between looking after the ewes and lambs over the summer we gather in the haylage, clip the ewes and carry out general maintenance around the farm.
