Baysgarth School

General information

Over the past three years, Baysgarth has undergone a complete transformation. Since 2014, when our results were the second worst in the Local Authority, we have made significant and sustained improvements; in 2015 we were named the most improved school in North Lincolnshire and in 2016 we were in the top five schools in the Humber region, in the top two schools in North Lincolnshire and amongst the top 10% of schools nationally!

In October 2016 we moved into a brand new school with every classroom fitted with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance learning. The site also includes the Humber Skills Centre, which supplies vocational provision to learners from within Baysgarth and beyond, and the Baysgarth Sports Village which incorporates a wide range of sporting facilities. These will be further enhanced in autumn/winter 2017 with the addition of a latest specification full-size, floodlit 3G pitch for use by the school and the community. Securing the funding for the full-size floodlit 3G pitch has been a two year journey, with £425,000 donated from the Premier League and FA, alongside significant investment from the Local Authority. The Sports Village has secured a total investment of almost £1 million. No local school can match the facilities that Baysgarth has and we are very proud of our provision.
