Ingleby Manor Company Information
General information
INGLEBY MANOR, a stunning Grade II* listed building, was the country home of a Courtier of Henry VIII and remains exceptionally peaceful and unspoilt today, surrounded by fifty acres of gardens and woodland in the North York Moors National Park with beautiful views across to the moors. Masses of wild daffodils bob their heads in the Spring sunshine and wood anemones, wild garlic and bluebells make a spectacular carpet under the lime trees along the Avenue.
Later, June is the Month of Roses, and the formal rose garden and herbaceous borders in the walled garden create the perfect setting for games of croquet, barbecues or just relaxing in the sun.
The largest stretch of heather-covered moorland in the whole of England is on our doorstep and is in full bloom in August and early September, when the little local agricultural shows and sheep dog trials are held.
Ingleby Manor offers visitors a truly unique retreat in its four luxury self-catering apartments in the manor house itself, and a house and cottage in the grounds, all exquisitely decorated and centrally heated. Enjoy your very own country break, and experience a piece of living history.
