We expect members of the community to post content that is passionate, funny, spirited, fun, inspiring, relevant and respectful to the community as a whole related to Middlesbrough, Teesside and wider Tees Valley.
We aim for this page to be family friendly and will delete personal attacks.
We don’t take decisions on moderating posts lightly. We reserve the right to remove any posts that don’t adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates them repeatedly.
Specifically, we do not tolerate these kinds of posts:

The Community Hub at Easterside supports Middlesbrough as a healthy town. We will not promote drinks or cigarettes offers. We will rarely promote fast food with the exception of parmos, the regional dish that Middlesbrough is known for.
With regard to political or religious content, you are welcome to post notices about your political or religious event as long as it does not run foul of the house rules above but the Community Hub at Easterside will not promote specific political parties or general religious activity.
We are happy to promote festivals, special charity or volunteer events as part of promotion of generous Middlesbrough.
We do not promote commercial betting activity. Though we may share charitable raffles and similar promotions.
Postings on our Facebook page do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Middlesbrough Council.
We will remove photos upon request. Message the page with a link to the image you would like removed along with your reason(s).
