Commanding glorious views across the Vale of Lanherne towards the sea at Mawgan Porth, Dalswinton House is a Victorian stone built former farmhouse in one of Cornwall's finest holiday destination.
Dalswinton house will appeal to couples requiring a quiet retreat in a superb location close to Padstow or as stepping stone in which to discover Cornwall.
Midway between Padstow and Newquay, with easy access to dog friendly beaches at Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth as well as the South West Coastal Path we offer the ideal base from which to explore Cornwall.
Overlooking the village of St.Mawgan, family-run Dalswinton House is approached over its own private drive and offers comfortable rooms and a friendly atmosphere together with a bar and traditional breakfast made to order.

The solar heated pool (open May to September) has a south facing sun terrace and the water temperature is displayed in reception

Residents bar open from 18.00 to 22.00 hrs weekdays and 14.00 to 23.00 hrs weekends.
Lounge with colour TV, video & DVD player (should you wish to play your own tapes / DVDs), free WI-FI access and a host of board games.
The large conservatory offers a quiet retreat on those ‘no so good’ days with beautiful panoramic views, free Wi-Fi access and is ideal for relaxing and reading.
A self-contained pine lodge with its own garden and facilities – ideal for small young families.

Location
Nearby Newquay airport offers daily flights to Gatwick and the Isles of Scilly, as well as a number of other UK Regional Airports. The Eden Project is a 20 minute drive and the A30 15 minutes giving easy access to everything Cornwall has to offer.

Accommodation
We have a selection of rooms available all year round, each has its own characteristics and charm. Every room has en-suite facilities, a television, fresh towels, free WIFI and tea & coffee making facilities. Smoking and electronic cigarettes are not permitted in the house.
There are 8 bedrooms in the house, including 1 ground floor room suitable for persons who have walking difficulties.

The Holiday Lodge
Our self-catering lodge refurbished in 2012, is situated within the grounds of the house, adjacent to the swimming pool. The lodge is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 16. The second bedroom contains a bunk bed suitable for children between 5 and 16 years of age. together with a lounge/dining area, kitchenette and a bathroom with shower, W. C. and hand basin. Externally there is a decking area and private garden overlooking the beautiful country views.
Smoking and electronic cigarettes is not permitted in the lodge.
