Helping to teach skills of the trade over the years. Greenberry Electrical Ltd has broadened its horizons and since 1996 has been a member of the NICEIC (the electrical contracting industry's independent voluntary regulatory body for electrical installation safety matters throughout the UK)

The company is keen to ensure high standards and is always abreast in changes of legislation. The director Mr Greenberry says " I have seen a lot of changes in the time I've been an electrician with the introduction of Part 'P' competent person scheme and new editions of the Institution of the electrical engineers regulations. The changes in the whole seem to be for the better as they have been put in place to try to stop cowboy electricians who have not served an apprenticeship from carrying out unsafe workmanship"

Offering apprenticeships is something Mr Greenberry sees as essential and he tries to replace each apprentice as they qualify.
Electrician Mr David Greenberry's career stems back to July 1975, when he started an apprenticeship.
It is 26 years since Newark electrician Mr David Greenberry set up his own business.
