Welcome to the official Facebook page for Meredale Independent School and Nursery. We believe that one of the most valuable gifts parents can give their child is a good education. We know that choosing a school for your child is a very important decision, which can take time and careful consideration. At Meredale we strongly believe that a happy, confident child is a successful child. We believe that an important part of our role is to enable pupils to use the excellent education they have been given, to have the confidence, tenacity and skills to acquire the qualifications and profession they may choose later in life.

Our mornings are predominantly devoted to Maths and English studies and afternoons to more practical lessons. We have a wide curriculum including Swimming and French delivered by specialist teachers, which focuses on each individual child. Our school classes take no more than 20 children and are taught by approachable and enthusiastic staff in a ratio of 1:10. Our aim is to make your child’s time at school memorable, enjoyable and fun, to ensure they thrive and flourish into well rounded and successful children.

Every child is different but whatever your child’s personality and talents, we aim to ensure that they are happy, self-assured and successful in all areas of school life.
