The Curiousa glass lighting range offers a wide choice of colour, shape and size with a variety of styles, complemented by a select range of finishes, fittings, flexes and bulbs. Each shade is traditionally free-blown without moulds, allowing virtually any shape, size and colour to be achieved.
Based in Derbyshire in the Midlands with a commitment to working with UK based craftspeople and suppliers, Curiousa & Curiousa work locally with carpenters, fabricators, photographers and glass blowers - all highly skilled crafts people.
Esther, the designer and founder of Curiousa launched her range in Design Week at Tent London in 2010 gaining the prestigious 'Elle Decoration Approval' award. Her lights now retail through Liberty London, and her designs are used in Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Cafe and Jamie Oliver Restaurants, gaining a nomination for the British Design Awards for 2012 and 2013, and last year winning The Dulux Colour Award. Esther continues to go from strength to strength, developing new ranges and bespoke solutions for interior designers, architectural practices and private individuals.
