The Peacock at Rowsley Company Information
General information
Owned by Lord Edward Manners of nearby Haddon Hall, this cosy stylish hotel has a reputation for delicious food and is ideally located close nearby attractions such as Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House in the heart of the Peak District National Park
The Peacock has been awarded three AA "Red" stars - its highest accolade - and three AA rosettes for its food.
Chef Dan Smith, originally from Tom Aiken, presents a sophisticated fine dine menu in the restaurant and a more relaxed menu in the bar. We are passionate about food and much of our meat such as beef, lamb and venison comes from the Haddon Estate.
The Peacock is famed for its seven and half miles of fly fishing on the River Wye where anglers come from all over the world to fish for rare wild rainbow trout and our unique strain of brown trout.
We are also ideally located for visiting nearby Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall & Renishaw Hall.
We aim to provide a relaxed and comfortable experience whether you are coming for a weekend in the country, a special occasion, or just to eat and drink.
