Long Rake Spar supplies the largest selection of hard landscaping products in the UK. Our extensive range of high quality natural aggregates offer a vast selection of colours, textures and design ideas to any hard landscaping project. With over 140 years experience in the decorative aggregate sector, Long Rake Spar has gained national status as the original manufacturer of Derbyshire Spar, and more recently as one of the UK’s largest suppliers of hard landscaping products. Our products are sourced from both our own quarries, and other quarries throughout the British Isles, Europe and Far East, enabling us to offer the most comprehensive range of decorative aggregates in the UK. This broad supply chain enables Long Rake to be at the forefront of new product development, and allows us to offer extremely competitive prices for the supply of established materials. Our range of products encompasses all coloured slates, feature and rockery stones, pebbles, cobbles and a wide selection of decorative chippings and gravel. We also produce a range of dried aggregate granules, in various colours, for incorporating into resin bonded surfacing applications. Our Goldpath self-binding gravel has proved particularly successful in providing a low maintenance, durable, quick solution for the regeneration of footpaths, bridleways and landscaping schemes where a cost effective, sympathetic surface is required. We have also introduced two new products into our footpath range, which provide a similar surface although being inert will not affect the pH of the surrounding habitat.
