General information
Teignmouth RNLI Fundraising Team was established to support the Teignmouth Lifeboat, each year the team manages with a lot of hard work and determination funds to cover the cost of our lifeboat and crew.
Funds are raised in our area by holding coffee mornings, garden fetes, the annual Walk in the Sea on Boxing Day, selling souvenirs, running a souvenir shop, opening the boat house and many other events throughout the year.
We need new volunteers with various skills, amounts of time and individuals and groups to hold events to raise desperately needed funds.
The RNLI nationally only has 3 months of surplus funds in the bank account currently, hence the need to ensure regular funding is needed. The fourth emergency service is not funded by the Government.
