Hello I’m John Corfield (M.Ost) ‘Master of Osteopathy’ thank you for visiting my Facebook page.

I Hope this signifies the start of you wanting to do something about the pain you are suffering and its not just because you’ve heard from a reliable source that I serve very good coffee with hot or cold milk, a glass of iced cold water with a slice of lemon on request, often subject my patients to ‘Absolute 80’s’ on the radio whilst treating you in front of a log burning fire (which you need to keep an eye on when I have my back to it so it doesnt go out) … it’s no coincidence my patient numbers rocket come winter?….Any how the list goes on and on…I’ll tell you, It’s endless.

Notwithstanding the above I can help if you suffering acute pain from simply sleeping awkward, putting your socks on in the morning, sitting on the toilet and not being able to stand up again, putting washing in the washing machine and feeling like you’ve been hit by a bolt of lightning, reaching up into a cupboard and feeling a sharp pain in your neck or shoulder, lifting your child, wife, husband, dog, cat or hamster up, wearing high heels on a night out and can’t walk the day after. There is nothing I haven’t heard whilst taking a case history, from the sad, very sad, unfortunate, funny, very funny, very very very funny, bizarre, crazy or just plain stupid….who am I to judge?

Sometime it’s the more chronic long term pain that brings patients to my clinic brought about by years of office based, physical or driving work, it’s likely even the daily stresses that have caused you discomfort. Don’t delay it any longer.

Having suffered a lower back injury over 15 years ago wrestling, did you just snigger at that? (Definately not the WWF or Giant Haystacks & Big Daddy kind of wrestling) no capes or masks I’m sad to say, what I can say is after that disc herniation and being in terrible pain for a very long time I can completely empathise with most of my patients, be it frustration from sub standard treatment from other providers to the effect medication and pain has on you. Nobody wants to change that more than me, because I know how much it means.
