Hawaiian Tan is situated in the thriving area of Whitefield, Manchester.

We have a range of beds available which consist of 4 lay downs and 1 stand up. We provide high quality Megasun and Sontegra sunbeds.

The Megasun lay down beds use uv tubes that are 160w with uv spaghetti tubes which are 25w, these extra spaghetti tubes help to boost your tan in places where you might find difficult. The face body and leg spaghetti tubes help to give you an even all over glowing tan.

The Sontegra lay down bed uses uv tubes that are 160W with extra uv spaghetti face tanners which are 25W. If you tan easily everywhere else but find that you have difficulty tanning your face then this is the bed for you.

All of our Megasun lie down beds are fully equipped with brilliantly powerful air con body cooling systems which are situated at the foot end of the bed. These help to make your tanning experience as relaxing as possible whilst preventing you from feeling hot and sweaty both during and after your session.

Our Sontegra bed is equipped with a large body cooler, this again is mounted at the foot end of the bed and is to be controlled manually with a tri-speed switch.

The tubes in the Sontegra stand-up bed are 180w, you get full body tanning and they are more effective in tanning the face and legs than standard tanning lamps. One of the benefits of the stand-up bed is that it accommodates for even the taller tanners with room to spare.

Our members of staff are highly qualified and well educated on all the beds and their uses. They are available at all times to answer any questions you may have and to help out in anyway in which they can.

If it is your first visit to Hawaiian Tan and you wish to use the sunbeds it is required by law that you complete a Skin Test when your details are added to our electronic system.
Our recently updated Skin Test now consists of just 4 questions with multiple choice answers, making it very quick and easy to complete.

So you’re wondering why we do a Skin Test? Once you have answered the 4 questions (regarding eye colour, hair colour, skin colour and freckles) you will receive a score which will remain on your details, enabling us to determine what skin type you have. This then aids us in advising you which of our beds is best suited to your skin type and how many minutes we would recommend you safely begin with, so that you can effectively build up your tan without the risk of burning.

We stock a wide range of lotions produced by well known brands, such as Australian Gold, which are designed to be used alongside the use of the sunbed in order to noticeably improve the speed and intensity of your tan build up, whilst keeping your skin moisturised throughout. Prices vary, however we do sell the lotions by the pot as well as by the bottle. This way, you are able to try out a range of lotions to find which best suits your skin type- this is something our salon operators will be able to offer advice with. Due to high demand we have recently started to stock 'Tan Shots'. This is a much quicker way of boosting your tan and has been extremely popular with our customers- we have received great feedback!
