Brighter Sound is a producer of creative music projects and events based in Manchester. We pioneer new ways to explore music making, with an interest in the spaces that exist between what is already on offer.
Our diverse and invigorating programme connects a wide range of people through music and creativity. Whether it’s packing out a library to see a signed band compose live, songwriting in a science lab or experimenting in an orchestra, every one of our projects pushes creative limits and strives to give new meaning to learning through music.
Brighter Sound is widely known for its work with young people and regularly contributes to research and strategic development on a regional and national scale. Working with schools across the region, we’re interested in what else we can take into the classroom to challenge perceptions and give young people new ways of learning through music.
