General information

As a teacher whose career has spanned across twenty years, I have extensive experience of preparing pupils for GCSEs. I have helped youngsters make their transition from primary school to secondary school, supported them in their choices upon leaving school, celebrated their successes and felt a genuine sense of pride as I’ve witnessed them grow into young adults.

To this day, I bump into past pupils in unexpected places, who have grown up and still recall some of the fun aspects of their learning, that make them smile and laugh.

Teaching has undoubtedly, been a fabulously rewarding career but I wanted to do more to help pupils, beyond what was possible in the classroom environment. I began considering alternative ways of achieving this and eventually decided to start my own tutoring business.

However, success and my love of teaching had to be reflected in my centre, so after considerable research into my new venture, I decided that the way forward was to become part of the world-wide, established Kip McGrath brand. A successful company with proven results, I knew immediately that it was the direction I had been looking for and a great way to offer pupils a personalised, supported and flexible way of learning.
