Optima was founded in 2007 by Mark O'Keefe and has continued to grow as a professional consultancy practice renowned for excellence in client delivery and service. Optima works for some of the largest financial brands across Europe, chosen for our deep knowledge of payment schemes and our team of experienced senior consultants.

A strategic alliance with PCL (Piran Consulting Limited) was formed in 2016, formalising the long-standing relationship between the two companies built over many years.

Our core service offerings include:

- Scheme fee services, comparison studies and invoice audits;
- Management information, dashboards and financial modelling;
- Regulatory compliance support; and
- Training, development and business simulations

In 2015, Optima launched the “Payments Reporting” service to address EU regulation on Interchange to provide an end-to-end service for Acquiring banks faced with the compliance challenge of Articles 9 and 12 of the regulation.
