General information
Located in South Manchester on the boundaries of Heald Green and Gatley in Stockport, Heald Green Theatre is an amateur company that has something for everyone. If you are in search of a good value night out then we offer a full programme of plays throughout the season. Or, if participation is more your thing then we welcome membership from people of all ages and experiences wishing to get involved in acting, directing, backstage work and front of house activities to name but a few.
We operate three youth groups, The Academy, Next Generation and The Young Actors Company, which cater for young people between the ages of 8 to 25 years and offer them the chance to gain experience of stage craft within a working theatre from experienced performers and staging/technical crew whilst also making new friends and developing new skills.
