General information

Agapanthus Interiors is an interior design and antique restoration shop specialising in antique chandeliers, furniture and home-wares. We carefully source decorative items from around the UK and Europe. Our philosophy is to look for unique, eclectic, lovely old pieces and sell them just as they are, or renovate with some creative re-inventing.

Our shop sits in the heritage conservation area of old Stockport near to The Market and St Mary’s Church. The building itself is a four storey, late Victorian gem with some lovely features and has been our biggest restoration project so far.

We are the stockists of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ for the Greater Manchester area which we use in all our painting projects. We run Annie Sloan painting workshops where you can learn and try out different painting techniques to achieve an authentic antique and vintage look. You can also have your furniture painted to your desired finish. At the shop we clean, restore and rewire all our antiques lights to British safety standards. We supply many spares such as braided wire, crystal drops and glass shades and offer lighting restoration service.

We take great pride in sourcing chandeliers to customer requests and have links with many stockists of old lighting in this country and abroad.
