Truck Craft Bodies Ltd was set up in 2003 by our Managing Director after many years as a general manager of a large commercial body builder.

Truck Craft Bodies Ltd was started with one aim - to be sucessful!

But, not just a successful company but rather to be a successful supplier to small and large companies alike, by concentrating on the things the larger companies had forgotten:

- consistent quality
- customer satisfaction

From the very start the Managing Director was determined that Truck Craft be recognised by his peers and customers as a professional and customer focussed company.

No job was too small or too specialist in design, Truck Craft initially excelled in providing single or short run bodies for specialist applications – the likes of which set the company in good store by providing quality niche products in a timely manner.

From the very early days Quality has been the companies watchword and as such the company has religiously followed established best practice in Quality Management and is certified by www.theauditpeople.com as operating and complying with Quality Management procedures ISO 2001/9001. This naturally leads us to the latest European requirements of Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA).

WVTA becomes law for vehicles registered after 29th October 2012, however until October 2014 vehicles can be registered with an Incomplete type approval, this is nothing to worry about it is just a mechanism that recognises the approvals and accreditation process for all bodybuilders is a slow and torturous one.

However should your body requirement be of a very specialist nature and we have no approval in place, here at Truck Craft Bodies we will be able to apply for short run approval or Individual vehicle approvals as our systems (both design & build) are proven to be robust through the application of our ISO design and build quality management systems.
