Welcome to the Manchester Universities' Catholic Chaplaincy Facebook page! Our lively community, based at the heart of Oxford Road, is here for all University of Manchester, MMU and RNCM students and Staff.
Our Chaplaincy offers lots of events and formation and is also home to the Faith and Politics, Faith and Science and MUCC SVP societies. We offer events and hospitality all year round, don't be afraid to come in and see us - its YOUR chaplaincy.
We are situated in Avila House, next to The Holy Name of Jesus Church and opposite the University of Manchester Student Union. We have a Chapel to pray in, a library to study in, a lounge to relax in and kitchen facilities for if you fancy a cup of tea or something to eat! We also have three resident priests for spiritual direction and guidance.
Daily mass times:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:05pm (in the Holy Name) 6pm (in the chapel)
Wednesday 1:05 (in the Holy Name) 10pm (in the chapel)
Sunday masses: 9:15am (in the chapel)
12pm (in the Holy Name)
7pm (in the Holy Name)
Adoration 30minutes before every daily mass
Confessions available on request.
