Some of the pictures here show Gothic House undergoing external renovation work. This happened during the summer month of 2011. A lot of repairs and restoration was done to window frames and other woodwork. I had a brilliant and talented carpenter. Then along came the painter, who was equally as dedicated to his craft and he did a painstaking job. The final flourish - literally - was having a sign writer put 'Gothic House' in a panel (that was just crying out for these words) above the front door. I think that the house probably looks better now than it has ever done in its 200 or so years of existence. Of course we shall never know for sure!
