The Shetland Times Ltd is Shetland’s leading communications organisation. Founded in 1872 the company publishes the islands’ popular weekly newspaper The Shetland Times (with a circulation figure of 9000+ reaching all local households). A full on-line digital version of the newspaper is also available through subscription (http://subscriber.pagesuite-professional.co.uk/subscribe.aspx?source=4&eid=6043cc59-7b2f-46cb-9d89-87a519be5935)
Other activities encompass:

The company has 55 employees, is wholly locally owned and has been in the same family for four generations.
We have two sites in Lerwick, the “capital” of Shetland: Head office, newspaper offices and printing works are located at Gremista and our Bookshop at 71/79 Commercial Street.
