General information

Alba Diagnostics Ltd was established in 1991, to design and manufacture professional garage service equipment.

The company developed from a two-person firm in 1991 to become the manufacturer of the World's No 1 Brake Fluid Tester, as acknowledged by experts in the field of brake fluid test technology.

The original product range consisted of only three products, all manufactured in-house; Brake Fluid Tester, Brake Bleeder, and Hydrolastic Suspension Pump. All three of these products still exist in the range today, albeit in improved and modified versions; a testament to the strength of the original concepts and designs.

Since those early days, the range has expanded considerably – both in our manufacturing and more recently, with imported products for UK & European distribution. We now import and distribute an ever-expanding range of products for the automotive aftermarket. Making use of our large warehousing facility and excellent communication links from Glenrothes in Central Scotland, we now imports and export on a world-wide basis.

Additionally, we now manufacture and produce under Private Label, for some of the largest brake system, brake fluid and car manufacturers in the world. We export to more than 30 countries worldwide, now including Japan, China, Taiwan & the USA, in addition to mainland European markets.

Alba’s products are available exclusively through our network of distributors – in the UK, in Europe, and around the world – however, we are always pleased to hear from the users of our products, and provide support by way of technical information, advice and spare parts.

Today, Alba is acknowledged as one of the leading garage service equipment providers in the UK, and continues to innovate and supply technical solutions for the Automotive Aftermarket
