Colordrives

General information

Colordrives was established in Knowle in 1945 and was originally founded by Lawrence Donohoe, it was then expanded and grown by his son Patrick Donohoe who was responsible for building Colordrives into one of the premier surfacing firms in the Solihull area.

Colordrives remains to this day a family run business with Patrick Donohoe still actively involved joined by his son Dominic Donohoe who oversees the day to day running of the business.

Colordrives teams are comprised of experienced, courteous and well trained staff most of whom have worked for us for many years and form the backbone of the business enabling us to ensure that the quality and attention to detail that the Colordrives name stands for is always adhered to.

Colordrives has grown into one of the most prominent surfacing firms in Solihull and is probably responsible for doing more of the driveways in the Solihull borough than any other firm, six decades in business and we continue to go from strength to strength.

Colordrives have cutting edge equipment, machinery and vehicles to carry out even the largest of contracts and continually invest in this area, we are also conscious of our businesses impact on the environment and ensure that we recycle excavations where we can instead of sending to landfill. We also run many of our vehicles on lpg which helps contribute to keeping our carbon foot print as low as possible.
