General information

Gwenllian Education Centre is an Independent Autism Specialist School in Carmarthenshire, South Wales.

We provide school placements to children and young adults between 7 and 19 years old with a diagnosis of autism or a related condition.

Placements are available to families resident in Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Neath-Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire and other neighbouring authorities.

Gwenllian Education Centre provides modern facilities, latest technologies, excellent resources and generous spaces within a safe and secure environment.

Our highly qualified and experienced staff provide a meaningful and relevant school curriculum where children are motivated to learn and interact. We specialise in educating students who exhibit complex behaviour.
We provide the specialist support required to ensure our students progress and recognise the effort and determination invested by our students to achieve their potential. Our specialist areas include developing cooperation, communication and independence.

We work closely with our Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other professionals to develop an individualised learning experience that is tailored to the needs of our students.

We welcome expressions of interest for joint placements with authorities and professional organisations.

Our curriculum is based on the principles of ABA and Verbal Behaviour.
