The Plough at Shenstone

Four long years have passed since The Plough and Harrow Public House closed its doors to the villagers of Shenstone. The sight of this proud old Lady, sadly neglected and painfully sliding toward dereliction, has proved to be a tough cross for the villagers to bear.

Following its acquisition in August of this year, “The Plough at Shenstone” has been the happy beneficiary of a major restoration and refurbishment designed to sympathetically return the building to its former glory.

Work has now been completed and its new owners, The Greedy Pig Pub Company Limited, commenced business the first week of December 2013!

The Plough is now privately owned and consequently a Free House. We are resolute in our endeavour to retain the village pub culture.

Walking boots, wellingtons, duffle coats and dogs are all welcome in the snug bar and lounge.

Our 75 seater restaurant has been the recipient of a luxurious transformation as is at the heart of our business. Our kitchen offers freshly prepared modern British food which will be served with a high emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.

Private dining will be offered upstairs in our “Norton Room” which can comfortably host up to 30 guests. Lavishly decorated, with its own private Bar and independent music station we are able to offer the perfect solution for small weddings, private celebrations, conferences or simply a unique personal experience.

The Plough has a variety of real ales sourced from all around the country along with a splendidly diverse wine list sourced from vineyards across the globe.

Fine Champagne and wines by the glass are readily available alongside bottles of the finest red and white wines the new and old world has to offer.
