The Church House Inn has been serving travelers and locals since the 14th Century.
We provide great ale, fine wine, quality home cooked food, relaxing accommodation and camping.
Set at the foot of a beautiful mountain, known as the Old Man of Coniston, and nestled amidst many walks and trails, our location is central for the wonderful sights and activities available in the Lakes.
A great beer and wine menu with cask ales and craft beers from celebrated micro breweries such as the award winning Loweswater Gold from Cumbrian Legendary Ales and old favourites from Hawkshead Brewery, Jennings Brewery, and Lancaster Brewery.
We serve wonderful home-cooked food uncompromising in quality and very generous in portion.
Our dishes are classic British food favourites for discerning travellers and locals alike.
We use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, passionately prepared with Church House Flair!
