We're a High Class family run Butchers in the popular town of Windermere in the heart of the Lake District - home of the Cumberland Sausage.
We specialize in making our own Authentic Traditional Cumberland Sausage which has won numerous National and Local Gold Awards, our own range of award winning Dry-Cured Bacons including our Sweet Dry-Cured Treacle Back Bacon with which we won the National Bacon Championships and our own range of Homemade Pies.We make our hand-crafted quality Pies using our own recipes for both the pastry and fillings and we offer a wide selection which changes weekly. We have won numerous National and Local awards for our Homemade pies. Hot Pies are available from 10am Daily.
We are a Traditional yet modern Butchers and we provide quality local meat including Lamb, Poultry, Pork, Beef and local Game when in season.
We have been awarded 5 stars by the Local Environmental Health as part of the Scores on the Doors Scheme which is the highest award given.
