Yew Tree Farm is home to Heritage Meats where Herdwick sheep and Belted Galloway cattle are reared by traditional methods to produce award winning Belted Galloway beef and Herdwick Hogget. My meat is now sold nationally. It's amazing flavour and quality is well recognised and is endorsed by some of the countries very top chefs.

I also have an on site butchery. So if you are in the area, you are welcome to call in to Yew Tree farm, as many of you do, where I will be more than happy to butcher anything from a single chop or joint to a full animal while you wait.
Yew Tree Farm was recognised by Beatrix Potter as having outstanding wildlife value. So much so that she bought Yew Tree and donated it to the National Trust to protect it. I farm today using the same traditional Methods used in Beatrix Potter's day. I'm proud to be custodian of some of the most precious and treasured habitat in the UK!
