CD Auction Group is one of Britain’s leading vehicle remarketing companies, with over 25 years of experience, we pride ourselves on providing an open and transparent auction environment that offers great value for money for both vendors and buyers alike.

CD Auction Group was established in 1989 as Cars Direct. Company founders, Graham Johnstone and Roger Woodward, believed the traditional mass auction process could be bettered by active remarketing of vehicles from known, reliable sources.
From the outset, we realised that online auctions would only be successful if
both vendors and buyers had complete confidence in the system, with an
open and transparent description of the product and the bidding process. With
clients from rental and leasing sector, as well as large and small
corporations, our success in online remarketing of used vehicles has enabled us to develop long-term relationships with both our clients and buyers.

The concept proved to be a huge success and Cars Direct launched its live,
online bidding system in 2003, shortly after moving to its current £1m
headquarters in Corby, Northamptonshire.

In 2010, the group rebranded as CD Auction Group, to better serve our customers.
Now after over 25 years our aim remains simple: to be the leading online auction group in the UK for many years to come for cars and vans. But
we are now more than just an auction house, we provide a full suite of remarketing
services, including, transport and logistics, pool fleet management and much
more.
