Apart from the play area, skate park & BMX track all of the facilities can be hired either on a seasonal/block booking basis or for casual bookings.
The Community room, as an example, holds 75 people and has a bar & kitchen area and is an ideal venue for parties, christenings, quiz nights & fund raising events as well as an ideal location for corporate/club & group meetings.
The facility also runs after school & holiday activities for the children along with a varied assortment of classes/sessions and groups for both young and old alike.
These range from chair exercise, keep fit sessions and nordic walking to a weekly, free 5k park run.
The ‘Wessy’ is certainly a place that the community can be proud of with so many activities and opportunities for all.
