Community Dental Services CIC is a social enterprise formed in 2011 delivering specialist and routine clinical dental and oral health promotion services.

Employing 150 people in 22 clinics across Bedfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Thetford in Norfolk, the core business is to provide NHS dental services to vulnerable groups who require special treatment or who find difficulty in accessing high-street dentists.

We also provide Oral Health Promotion and Epidemiology services in Bedfordshire, Suffolk, Leicestershire, Essex, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

CDS also operates two mobile clinics taking specialist treatments to those patients who cannot travel to dental clinics at local health centres.

Wholly owned by its employees, the company is committed to the highest standards of treatment and has shared its success by re-investing in improved services for patients; most recently it has also formed a charity to work closely with local voluntary organisations in the community.
