General information
In 2005 myself and my wife Eileen made the move to the UK to start up a boarding and consigning business. We were very lucky to find Shutford Stud after only a year in the UK and this is where we began our fledgling business.
We now sell over 20 yearlings a year and a smaller draught of foals each year. Our walk in mare business has developed over the years as has our full time boarders. Two years ago we started a very exciting Enterprise Investment Scheme for pinhooking, details of which can be found on this website.
After 7 years at Shutford Stud we found ourselves looking for a top class stud farm in a good location with enough scope to allow our business to grow. We were again very fortunate enough to be given the chance to lease the historic Bloomsbury Stud which will now be named The Woburn Stud.
Geographically, the farm could not be in a better location being within an hour’s drive Newmarket, while it is also close to other excellent stallion studs making it an ideal location for walking-in mares
